Nick came home from school today and said that he had voted for the new president. I asked him who he voted for, and he said, "Obama, because he likes to play basketball and I'm going to play basketball too."

The girls in Mackenzie's class wanted to vote for Obama because he was the cutest.

Obama got Isabelle's "vote" because of his cuteness. She actually was very defensive when we tried to change her mind. Even Jeff's little lesson didn't sway her...it was something about taking all her Halloween candy and redistributing it to the kids who were to lazy to trick-ot-treat...hmmm
