July 5th ~ So grateful for our religious freedoms!

Retaining wall has been leaning more and more for the last couple years and decided to fall apart.  God was so in the details of leading us to a company that does an incredible job and saved us a lot of money.  Robleros Vazquez Construction Company working with Mario and crew was fantastic and a tender experience.

They were also able to fix the broken fence spots and the gates that Nutty had destroyed years ago.

We'll be able to paint the fence in a couple months. They fixed all the electrical stuff too and our backyard lights are working again.  Thank you Jesus!

Goodbye to our 2008 Honda Oddessy ~ such a great van!  Marilee put LeAnn in the Citizen local paper and she was athlete of the week, deer love our yard, boys working on pinewood derby cars, LeAnn attended 100 classes at the gym so far (not counting the ones she teaches)

LeAnn & Brandon got to brick in preparation for the triathlon in 4 weeks - bike and run, we got it done! Lunch date with the Js and some games too.  Consistent July💙

Pennsylvania Family Reunion Adventure

Some weeks we wish we could bottle up forever💙

We just returned from a family reunion in Pennsylvania, and my heart is so full. While we missed 8 of our favorite people, having 24 of us together felt like such a gift. 

We stayed in a beautiful home where there was something for everyone ~ swimming, basketball, kickball, roasting marshmallows & hot dogs, game nights, delicious food, hot sauna time, walks with my awesome brother, and so much more! 

We also ventured out together for rail biking in the Poconos (a new fun favorite thing to do), a day on Lake Wallenpaupack filled with water skiing and lake fun, a visit to Claws 'N' Paws (one of the coolest wild animal parks), and a round of miniature golfing in the most beautiful setting. 

As fun as those adventures were, the best part was simply being together. Watching cousins play. Sharing yummy meals around the tables. Catching up on life. Laughing over silly games. Making new memories while remembering old ones. 

Then came the journey home. More than a few unexpected twists and delays could have made for stressful days, but instead we witnessed what felt like countless little miracles and tender mercies along the way. Many moments reminded me that God truly is in the details, and Jesus walks with us wherever we go. 

Today my heart is simply grateful ~ for family, for time together, for safe travels home, and for the countless little blessings that made this reunion one we'll never forget. 

P.S. Russ & Lainie ~ thank you for creating one of the sweetest family reunions we've ever had. Y’all put so much thought, love, and countless little details that went into making everyone feel welcome and included. What a beautiful gift you gave our family!

Loved my two 6 mile hill walks with Brent and spending time chatting with Lexi, Grandma & Grandpa sure had fun playing with the Greats.
