Nick's last day of his senior year turned out to be March 12th, thanks to Covid-19, the last few months of high school were interesting to say the least. Nick started back to his summer job early since virtual school wasn't really happening. He pushed off moving to Logan until the end of August. Who knows what else will happen, but Nick handled everything beautifully. We're hoping for a real graduation August 1st, but are thankful for the efforts made to make the best of this.
Dropped Nick off at the hospital last week to get part of a tube that's been stuck in his ear for years taken out. I waited in the parking lot for 3 hours and received calls from the doctor and nurses for updates. The doctor came out to speak with me by my car. Weird way to do this, but all went well and Nick is on the mend. Hopefully no more ear stuff and he's diving in the pool soon.
Who else gets a senior shirt with a dumb mask on it?!
First graduating class to have a golf cart parade graduation - it was awesome! The planes flew over twice too, which made my heart smile. Hopefully they learned that golf cart graduations are the best and do that every year. There was a nice virtual graduation as well. Here's an update on our 3 baby birds.
