Triathlons for 20 years!

20 years later…we did it again! 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️πŸƒ‍♀️

Twenty years ago, Jeff and LeAnn somehow decided that doing a triathlon sounded like a good ideaπŸ˜‚

We had to take swim lessons, our bikes were…let’s just say not exactly high-performance, and we had NO idea what this little triathlon journey would turn into.

Today, we showed up and did the PTC Triathlon again!

And wow, what a gift. So many tender mercies, full-circle moments, and memories from then to now.

Brandon did it with us this year, and watching him cross the finish line with his cute girlie Raelynn was pretty tender. And she even got a medal with LeAnn!

The boys all did the youth triathlon here growing up too, and Grandma & Grandpa/Mom & Dad were the ones who came and watched them multiple times so Jeff and LeAnn could go do all their crazy triathlonsπŸ˜‚

And guess what? They were there again today. Cheering us on, just like they always have. They truly support us in everything, and we don't think we'll ever be able to fully express how grateful we are for that.

Our dear friends Mike & Carmen Trusty were there cheering us on and taking pictures and videos ~ just like they did 20 years ago.

And LeAnn's tri-training amazing friend Liz was out there rocking it with us too!

And we want to give a HUGE shoutout to Kim Bramblett, who organized this race 20+ years ago and is STILL making it happen today. We've done triathlons in a few different places, and honestly…PTC is still the best!

So grateful for the people, the memories, the health, the opportunity, and all the little moments that brought us from 20 years ago to today.

What a beautiful reminder that so much of life isn't about the finish line ~ it's about who shows up along the wayπŸ’™

How many more decades do you think we can do this?πŸ˜‰

Here's to another 20+ years of tri-ingπŸ’ͺ
