Interfaith Luncheon

There were 15 different churches in the area represented at this lunch.
How blessed I am to live in a community where a variety of churches work together
to make wonderful things happen!

TRI

10 years ago Jeff challenged me to do the PTC Triathlon...

We've experienced so much since that first one!  We've done all different distances, including 2 half ironmans.  Love the time spent training together, especially our long bike rides.  So thankful for awesome friends who've supported us, and mom & dad often coming out to play with the boys during races.  It's been 4 years since I've done
a tri...maybe it's time to get back in the saddle and tri some more:)

Obviously not much competition in my age group,
but I'll take it, and a challenge to kick it into gear and do better!

Football

Nick decided to play football...it's been a little tougher than he anticipated,

but he's working hard and getting stronger every day.  

Lot's of new things for him this year...high school, football, seminary, etc.

Justin completed his Eagle Scout Board of Review tonight.

All the boys in our family are eagles - yea!!!

Escape Room

Grandma & Grandpa came to play! 

They love to do fun things with us, so this trip there was shooting, bowling,
movie, swimming, pedicure, cards, bbqs and we were a # button away
from getting out of the Escape Room...next time:)

Gamecocks

Kurtis has played baseball with the Gamecock Team for the past 5 years.

He's made some wonderful friends and learned many valuable life lessons.

They played their last game ever and it was the perfect way to go out.

Kurt caught the entire game.  They won 8 to 0.  Kurt hit a fantastic double which brought in 2 runs. I cried and was so thankful.  I'm sure going to miss sitting on the bench visiting with all the incredible parents, and watching my sweet boy do something he loves...time to move on to bigger and better.

Nauvoo

Kurtis had the incredible opportunity to go on a Trek to Nauvoo

with 80 youth from the area.  He had the best family there!

Summer Fun

Ken Mills taught Kurtis to drive his stick shift jeep,

What an awesome home teaching companion and example!

Playing in the rain and pool are summertime musts,

puzzles and brothers are not too shabby either;)

 Kurt drove himself to SC to be with Neubergers, 

He and Chase have been friends since they were babies.

2 days at the lake with them was heaven for Kurt!
He also got his wisdom teeth out - easy peasy.

Fishing and bike rides are always enjoyable.
