Heart to Heart Race

Our elementary school's 5k and 1 mile run
A favorite family tradition...

Brandon won 3rd place over all in the mile run!
For posterity sake, here's LeAnn's 1st place medal in the 5k age group. Lucky for me, all the fast runners my age had other plans:)
What a fun morning with the boys (Kurt was camping).
Look forward to next year's heart to heart!

Pinewood Derby

A favorite day around our house. Nick was the lucky "scrubby" scout racing this year. He named his car "the pine pearl".
Nick's thoughts: "I liked the stickers and
I won first place with Daddy's help."
Looking forward to 2012 and 2 Austin cars again:)

Please let tomorrow be a snow day too!

Happy New Year

Since we've celebrated most of the holidays
this year a day early, had to follow suit.
Happy 2011!
Here's to another sparkling year!

Corn Hucking

"Uncle" Mike & family made/gave us a cool game for Christmas.
Basically you huck corn bags and try to get them in a hole.
There's a point thing too, but my goal as of now is to get the bag
to hit the big white board. The boys love it!
Thank you for the "corny" game "Uncle" Mike!

Merry Christmas

Lucky boys got to have Christmas yesterday (Christmas Eve). Jeff was on call and we didn't want him to miss the excitement!
Santa devoured the Ho-Ho Cake.
Don't shoot your eye out:)
This flashlight will light up a room - Kurt's ready to camp!
The gift read, "To: Nick From: Nick"
ahhhhhhhh

Dead Finish Last > Did Not Finish> Did Not Start
Passports and a cruise soon!
Merry Christmas 2010

Christmas Eve Eve

Trusty's came to party!
Yum:)
Justin loves Adam...well, we all do!

Next year's Christmas Card Picture

We started a Trusty tradition a few years back of the kids acting out the Christmas Story. Nick loves to be baby Jesus. He still thinks that should be his part and loves Nicole being Mary. We're thinking baby Jesus was probably smaller than Mary, but not in our reenactment. Katie is a beautiful narrator. Phillip helped baby Jesus with his swaddling clothes. Thanks Trusty's for being good sports and being wonderful examples to our boys!
Nick loves Christmas Eve - thanks Nicole!
