Lake Oconee

Another "Best Day Ever" with our GA Grandparents.
Lorrie and two of her kids were able to come too - so fun!
Loved the glassy lake, endless water toys and company of our dearest friends.
Thank You Burgys!

Trouble

After a loud knock at the front door, this is what we saw.
Lucky for Kurtis, he spent the week with the police department doing lots of cool things.  He even did a ride along in the evening and wrote out warnings:).  We told him if he ever came home like this again - huge trouble!

Heavenly Hilton Head

Grandma/Mom turned 60 and Mom & Dad treated the whole family to the best week ever in Hilton Head, SC! They picked the kush-est home on the island for the 24 of us. Individual rooms and bathrooms, 3 kitchens, 2 laundry rooms - it was amazing! Pool in the backyard, beach across the street and we rented bikes which was so fun. Couldn't have been in a better place or with better company!

Playing at the beach with cousins - 14 beautiful kids.

1st Dalby 1 mile run/walk race
Mom & Dad gave us all nice shirts with "Courage" on the front.  Dad did an excellent lesson on courage the first night we were together and left a thought on our beds each day.  Great theme for the week and for life.
We love our shirts - thanks Grandpa & Grandma!!!

Riding bikes all over the island and on the beach was dreamy.
When all of us were together in our cool courage shirts, we attracted a bit of attention.

The evening of the race, we gave out ribbons for all the great runners/walkers.
Way to go Brandon & Hudson for leading the pack!

Lots of games, relaxing and togetherness - YEA!

Swimming in the backyard.

Crabbing Excursion - quite the fishermen!

Miniature golf, a church built before the civil war in Blufton, and alligators.

Cousin Lovin!
Original Family - thank heavens for incredible brothers and the best parents ever!

Family pictures - everyone's favorite event:)

"It takes a great deal of courage to stand up to your enemies,
but a great deal more to stand up to your friends."  A. Dumbledore

"Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do.  But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's courage."

"Be courageous now.  Things will be better.
It might be stormy now, but it never rains forever."

Courage is looking fear right in the eye and saying,
"Get out of my way, I've got things to do."  Anon

"Courage is being afraid but going on anyhow."  Dan Rather

"Courage doesn't always roar.  Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says, "I'll try again tomorrow."  M. Radmacher
Thank you Dalby family for another wonderful week together,
look forward to many more!

Kurtis the Boss...he picked the title:)

Kurt's baseball traveling team won the State Championships!
Kurtis played catcher, 3rd, and left field. He's notorious for stealing home and sliding head first into home plate.  Way to go Kurt Kurt!

50+ Miler

Brandon just completed a 50 (more like 60) miler! The scouts and fearless leaders backpacked over 30 miles of it and rafted the other 20+. Thanks to Ben Johnson for organizing and carrying out this incredible experience, as well as Sean Miner, Steve Leavitt and Barry MacArthur. Jeff was able to spend a couple days for the "food drop" and first day of rafting.
