St. George

Jeff was working during the break, so LeAnn and boys went to St. George to play with Grandma & Grandpa.  We mini golfed, bowled, swam, Brigham Young's house, trampoline land, lots of food, movies, shopped, games, and had a wonderful time.

Early Christmas

Christmas came to our home on the 22nd this year.  Jeff went on call at 10am so when the boys finally got up at 8:30, we opened gifts.  The indoor decorations were all put away by that evening, which is LeAnn's favorite part.  Ready for simple, clean and a new year.  Along with three things the boys wished for this year, they did 3+ things for others...remembering what Christmas truly is all about.

Thankful for Thanksgiving Break...

Grandma & Grandpa came to spend the week with us - yea! Brandon drove us all to Chattanooga (mom was only nervous twice:).  We stayed in a cabin in Trenton.
First stop was the Inclined Railroad.

 

 

Then on to Ruby Falls.

 

Rock City for the Christmas Lights was after a dinner break.

 

The boys couldn't resist funnel cakes.

Rock City again the next day.
So fun at night with the lights and in the day for more play!
Seven states at once - J thinks Georgia is best.

 

 

Don't have pictures of a huge "yard sale" near our cabin...that was interesting.
After some wheelin and dealin, I got a "free" cabbage with my plates.
We heard about Cloudland, GA State Park - great spot!  It was beautiful and we hope to go back and stay in the cabins and do some more hiking.  We climbed a mile down and back up with a ton of stairs and fabulous waterfalls. 
Truly a boy's heaven, running and climbing all over.

So thankful for family time together - look forward to our next adventure.

Austin Authentic Photography

Jeff is starting a small business (but not quitting his day job:)  He's always been interested in photography and decided to take the plunge.  He bought a new camera and has been soaking in all the info he can that has anything to do with photography.  I had the opportunity to go with him last week to take some shots around town.  Loved it and love that he's found something else he enjoys doing!  Jeff has an eye for authenticity and some interesting stories will be posted frequently on his site telling about some of his portraits.  If you'd like pictures taken for any occasion, interested in a video dvd/cd set to your favorite tunes, or would like some of the authentic photos he's already taken, let us know.  Looking forward to a new adventure!
