Awesome Nick

Nick completed his Faith in God award and received the priesthood.

Grandpa & Grandma Austin came out to spend the weekend.

Kurt Kurt

Kurtis made the high school freshman baseball team!  This is his first game.  He plays catcher with one other guy so they switch off games - nice playing time for Kurt.

He also finished up swim team and received the award for the "most improved swimmer" out of the entire team - way to go Kurt Kurt!

Polar Bears

Jeff took the 12 & 13 year old boy scouts and N & J camping for 2 nights. It was at the tail end of our most recent ice storm, so a little chilly (okay 25 degrees at night and 30 degrees/rain the second night).  This was wilderness survival and leadership boot camp and the boys did fantastic. Jeff had a little shoe malfunction...told him he'd better remember duck tape next time:)

Brandon went with a few of the young men to hike Blood Mountain.

Snow Jam

It's amazing the fun that 2-3 inches of snow brings in GA.

School's closed for days...yea!!!

Sally and the pool can't wait until spring:)

Ugh!

Thankfully the pool was completed in the winter so we could work out issues. Lots of rain in a very short time, did not do well in our backyard.  Richard and Kevin graciously cleaned up the mess and fixed the problem. No more brown pool...

Can't wait for summer!

Southwest

Jeff took off for Dallas in November for Southwest training.

2 months and lots of craziness later...he now flies for SWA!

Christmas

Christmas was simple...the pool being the main gift
and the boys opening a couple water toys from friends and relatives.
A fun surprise from G & G and Jeff coming home
for 2 days made for a wonderful Christmas!
So thankful for our Savior Jesus Christ...the reason for the season~

Festival of Nativities

Our First Annual Festival of Nativities was amazing!

11 dear friends brought incredible nativities to share from around the world. 

So thankful for Louise, Kristen and countless others who made this event possible.

Already looking forward to next year - what a beautiful tradition.

 

 

Swimming Dream

Jeff has wanted a pool for as long as I can remember.  With the boys getting older too quickly, we figured we'd better take the plunge!  This is their Christmas gift for the rest of their lives;)  Summer can't come soon enough.

Justin was the first one in the pool (perks of getting out of school first)!  Kurtis was the first to dive off the wall.  Nick was the first to jump off the diving board.  Brandon, Jeff & LeAnn are waiting for the water to be at least 70 degrees.

We were blessed to find the best pool guy, the best cement guy
and the best landscape guy!  We are beyond blessed and thankful!!!
