March Miscellaneous

J's first track meet this season. He made the short distance team this year

and is enjoying the high jump, 400 and 400 relay.

Cement

Nutmeg has destroyed most of our back yard grass area. This should eliminate some hole digging and mud issues as well as give us more room for patio furniture.  A little less lawn to mow too:)

We'll get our redneck retaining wall fixed soon!

Joy in the Journey

Another year older and continually striving to do better, enjoy more fully the beauty that surrounds me, to love more, to listen and understand better, to get rid of things I don't use, are worn out, or don't need, to be kinder no matter the response, to listen consistently to inspiration and always choose to act, to be adventurous and play more, to increase knowledge through prayerful study and Jeffrey discussions, and look for additional ways to serve.  I  have family and friends who I cherish and am beyond blessed~

Food bank

I enjoy volunteering at the Food bank every now and then. When I went the end of January, I met a guy who builds cabinets and went home to tell Jeff that we could make our cabinets go to the ceiling and give me storage for all that wasted space:)  We'll that turned into painting, new hvac, and a myriad of other things...
stay tuned for renovation pics throughout the coming months.  

These pictures are when the painters started trimming all our wood white (hence the pantry food shoved on top of cabinets).  White trim certainly lightens things up!
