March Madness

Coronavacation began in March and completely changed everything.  No school (sort of online) and most everything closed, lots of tender mercies though!  Shooting with Marilee and Trish, flowers from Brandon, puzzle time

My dear friend Annie (introduced by Cheryl) sent me this awesome shirt!  We've been coaching each other and I have loved getting to know her ~ what a blessing.

My first MMG for Applied Track at The Life Coach School.  Clouds started rolling in 20 minutes into call that I was suppose to coach on.  Power went out and tree branch fell on back of boys car.  6 of our trees died so Jeff got them pulled out and hauled off, our new puzzle table from Tiff - gotta love the unexpected.

Amazing 18

Our cute Nick is 18.  He didn't want a birthday cake, just some THM vanilla ice cream.  He's down 60 pounds in the last 4 months, he runs at Line Creek, works out at the gym, eats salads for lunch, he's kind and inclusive, he's prepping for college, and will be off on his own in 3 months.  How we admire this amazing guy!

My cell phone died on the taxiway in ATL which was quite the adventure traveling with no way to contact anyone except Jeff (the only phone number I have memorized), and I had to ask strangers to borrow their phones.  3 cities/layovers later, I made it and Dad took me straight to get a new phone.

Brandon came down to see me and have dinner.

50 pounds gone!

My amazing 17 year old son lost 50 pounds and 7 inches off his waist in 90 days! Nick's commitment to taking care of his body, eating protein & veggies while keeping his carbs & fats separated, and not eating flour & sugar has been outstanding! Nick now enjoys salads (especially from Zaxbys and Your Pie), meats without buns/bread, lots of THM yummy recipes, treats made with natural sweeteners (especially peanut butter balls), gum, and diet drinks once in awhile. 

Nick's a man of few words, but here are some of his thoughts throughout his 3 month journey:
Non-scale victories: "more confident, overcome soda/sugar addiction, not spending so much on food, eating smaller portions, learning to cook more things, healthier treats/snacks, food/eating management"
Thoughts about progress so far: "pretty happy, worried about upcoming holidays with tempting sugary treats" (Nick rocked it through Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and everything in-between - he's now an expert at eating well during the holidays!), "Wow, Great, I got a snazzy suit, I think I did swell"

She's back!

Sarah is back from her 18 month mission in Brazil - what an

incredible accomplishment!  We have one happy Brandon:)
