Marvelous May
Upside down Crossfit Adventures
Justin told us he had a surprise at his chorus concert. A friend showed us his name on the program and he sang a beautiful solo - Way to go J!!!
Beautiful mornings and Nutmeg trail fun
Justin's last soccer game, with some rain
Love to see and be in the temple~
What happens when you don't brush and floss well...ugh
Out with the old and in with the "new" (to us) office furniture.
BryAnn & Greger Roner moving and letting us buy a lot of their
furniture, was many tender mercies for us!
Kurt texted me this sign from the Logan airport. I say it to him quite frequently and he thought I was hiding there and had written it:) Cool new missionary plaque with Brandon's name, and room for more Austin boys. Our first blueberries and they were delicious! Slimming down a bit and getting some muscle definition in my arms. Someday I will do a pull-up!

Kurt and Kristen
Kurtis came home for Kristen's graduation. So we had a late birthday celebration, a group hug that Nutmeg insisted on being a part of, and pool volleyball.
Cute Kristen graduated.
Off she goes to BYU Idaho ~ college adventures for both of them.

Mother's Day
My cute Mom is serving a mission in Argentina.
What an example she is to me of constant service and love!
I’m blessed to be the Mom of 4 incredible young men. Love and am so proud of each one of them. Continue doing amazing things cute boys~

Bedroom update
Our bedroom furniture consisted of a dresser I stopped a neighbor from taking to the dump and they gave to us instead, a headboard I got at a garage sale for $15, a tv mom & dad purchased for us years ago, and some end tables and lamps someone was getting rid of when they moved.
So, when I saw a friend was selling a bedroom set of very nice furniture, I was thrilled. She gave us a fantastic deal, too good to pass up!

Getting all the heavy furniture home was a bit of a challenge. We barely fit everything on the trailer and after loading it all up and tying it down, it rained on the way home (the only time the whole week it rained) so everything went in the garage wet, was towel dried quickly, and ran the fan for the night. Thankfully this was heavy duty furniture and the rain didn't make it turn to mush, it dried just fine.
There was one piece (armoire) that was too heavy for Jeff & I, so the very nice missionaries came to the rescue. An hour later we got the armoire up the stairs...it was too big to go into our room around the corner. So off to the bonus room it went. I figured out the next day how to get the top off and got it in our room.
Of course if you get "new" furniture, you need to paint so the woods don't clash. Worked out perfectly that Jeff had a 3 day trip and Milo/crew were able to come paint. Nick and Justin helped me get the room cleaned out and put back together right before Dad got home:)
New blinds came a few days later. Love the update!
We have a goal we're working on so we can get a flat tv too:)

Drag Races
I now understand why Jeff loves going to the Drag Races
It's a whole different world, and so fun!
Ear protection and stadium seats are a must
Dinner at Five Guys and a 2 minute plank
Nothing quite like the vibration and fire from all the different cars.
Thanks Babe ~ I loved spending the day at the races with you!

Sarah
Brandon brought Sarah home to visit. They met at BYU and she is leaving for a mission to Brazil in July. Her mom sent beautiful flowers the day she arrived.
What a cute girlie ~ glad Sarah could spend some time with us.

Kitchen Redo
It all started with volunteering at the food bank:)
Old wood cabinets with wasted space at top
New upper cabinets that go to ceiling and a corner lazy susan
keeping lower the same but edge drawers and replace cabinet doors
Jeff installed under cabinet lighting which I LOVE
Replace counter tops and check out the cool table I made with the old one
New granite counter tops, big sink and a beautiful back-splash
Done - not too shabby for a low budget redo
